I am in love with the Let It Snow Suite found on pages 18 - 21 in our Holiday Catalog. I am only using a small portion of what the suite has to offer. You can buy the whole suite, the bundle (which is the stamp and punch) or ala carte.
It snowed here on last Wednesday causing the schools to close as trees and power lines were on the ground. So I decided to make a snowman card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Snowmen Season
CS / DSP: Let is Snow DSP, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, Real Red Glimmer Paper
Ink/Coloring Tools: Memento Ink, Versamark, White Embossing Powder, Wink of Stella, Blends: Basic Black Dark, Shaded Spruce Dark, Real Red Combo
Accessories: Snowfall Accents Puff Paint
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals
Tools: Snowman Builder Punch, Heat Tool, Paper Snips, Embossing Buddy
Directions:
- Cutting: Real Red:8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4", card base, Whisper White: 5 1/4" x 4", inside of card, 4 1/2" tear about at 2", DSP: 4" x 4 1/2", 1/2" x 5 1/4", Shaded Spruce scrap for sentiment, 2 - 1/4" x 3 1/2 Real Red Glimmer Paper.
- Using the Snowman DSP punch out a snowman with the Snowman Builder Punch
- Fussy cut 5 trees from the DSP
- Stamp hat with Memento Ink then color using blends, use Wink of Stella on hat band.
- Cut. out hat with the Snowman Builder Punch
- Glue on the hand torn white onto the DSP
- On the hand torn Whisper White lightly add the Snow Accent and heat the a heat tool.
- Use your Embossing Buddy on a piece of Shaded Spruce, then stamp sentiment with Versamark, pour on White Embossing Powder and heat with heat tool and then cut it out.
- Attach the strips of glitter paper to each side of card
- Attach to card base
- Glue down trees
- Pop up Snowman and hat with Dimensionals
- Pop up the sentiment on each end
- Inside of card, stamp sentiment and add a strip of DSP to the bottom
