This week I decided to case one of the cards on page 12 of the Holiday Catalog. I love the Plaid Designer Series Paper and the cute Christmas Tree Punch. - Stamps: Perfectly Plaid
- CS/DSP: Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP stack, Whisper White & Cherry Cobbler CS, Shaded Spruce, Gold Foil
- Ink/Coloring Tools: Cherry Cobbler & Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin’ pads, Memento Black Ink, Versamark ink, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder
- Accessories: Tole Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots, 3/8” Shaded Spruce & Gold Ribbon
- Adhesives: Dimensionals & Multipurpose Liquid glue
- Tools: Stitched Rectangles, Pine Tree Punch, Heat Tool
Directions:
- Cutting: Cherry Cobbler 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2", Plaid DSP 5 1/4" x 4", Polka Dot DSP 4" x 2 1/4", Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4" for inside of card.
- Stamping: Tree on Shaded Spruce using Memento Black Ink, Tree on Shaded Spruce using Versamark Ink, then emboss with the White Emboss Powder, Tree on Whisper White using Shaded Spruce Ink, Sentiment using Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White
- Punch: Three trees just stamped plus another one using Shaded Spruce Polka Dot pattern from Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP
- Die cutting: Cut out sentiment using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, then either use the next size up of the Stitched Rectangles or cut out a piece of Gold Foil Paper just a little bit bigger than the sentiment. I have a 1/8" border.
- Glue the Cherry Cobble Polka Dot DSP to the Plaid DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then wrap the Shaded Spruce & Gold Ribbon around to cover the seam. (I just using tape to attach to the back of the card.) Glue down the three green trees using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Pop up the white tree using Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment to the gold foil and using Dimensionals attach the Gold Foil to the card front. Attache the card front to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach Whisper White Cardstock to the inside for writing. Don't forget to decorate the inside of your card and your envelope.
- Add three Toile Tidings Glimmer Enamel Dots to the white tree.
You can either buy the Wrapped in Plaid Bundle and get a few extra things to play with or buy just the supplies you need. I have listed both options.
